Thank you to everyone who came out to this week’s launch events for Brooke Jeffrey’s new book,
Dismantling Canada: Stephen Harper’s New Conservative Agenda.
Brooke Jeffrey, a professor at Concordia University and former policy adviser to the Liberal Party, gave talks in Montreal and Ottawa on the major questions addressed in her book, specifically: the strategies that brought Stephen Harper’s New Conservative Party to a majority government, his long-term objectives, and, finally, the likely outcome of his agenda to change Canada into a country most Canadians would not recognize.

This is one of the very best political books I have ever read. I don’t think very many Canadians have a clue to what extent their country is being high jacked by the Harper government. Most think this is just another Conservative government like that of Mulroney or Joe Clark. They couldn’t be further from the truth. It is up to all of us to get the message out there before the next Federal election. This book will do wonders toward that objective.
Thanks for your comment, Ron!
Why should anyone pay any money for a Liberal ad book? I just saw Brooke Jeffrey on TV. She is very disappointing. Ron, you are obviously not a tax paying Canadian. Go look at what the world is going through politically before you shoot down the Conservatives. A small, efficient, majority Conservative government is what Canada needs.
