The Association of English-language Publishers of Quebec (AELAQ) will host a presentation and roundtable discussion on the More Canada Report.

Published in September 2018, the report gives a comprehensive overview of the Canadian book industry and the challenges of finding readership for Canadian books. With attention given to the roles of bookstores, libraries, and the CBC, the report lays out concrete recommendations for how government can better support the industry. In advance of Budget 2020, report co-author and Executive Director of McGill-Queen's University Press Philip Cercone will present on the report, to be followed by a round-table discussion with industry stakeholders.
