Please join Cirque Global's co-editor Louis Patrick Leroux for his upcoming creation of a short (but intense) tight-wire performance and sound installation based on Hamlet's "to be or not to be" soliloquy as re-imagined, translated, woven between languages and into a moving precarious body. Performances will be, Friday 10th (12-1 p.m.) and Saturday 11th (1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m.) in the Atrium at 1000 de la Gauchetière in Montreal.
The performance, which is part of the events surrounding Shakespeare's 400th anniversary, lasts roughly 8 minutes, so it is recommended to get there early as not to miss it!
There will also be a panel discussion on Saturday June 11 at Concordia University's Library at 2:30 pm, room: LB-322. The panel will include Louis Patrick Leroux, Alison Bowie, Jean-François Bernard, Paul Yachnin, Meredith Evans, Joyce Boro, Jennifer Drouin, Stephen Wittek, Fiona Ritchie, and Jenn Long.
