This September, poet Eleonore Schönmaier and the virtuoso pianist Bobby Mitchell will join for two performances as part of a monthly instalment put on by the New European Ensemble. On September 19, the two will perform at the Branoul Theatre in The Hague, NL at 21:00.

Eleonore Schönmaier’s poems frequently invoke the worlds of contemporary and classical music both through direct reference and musical language—she will read from her latest collection of poetry, Dust Blown Side of the Journey. Bobby Mitchell performs piano works by Arnold Schönberg, Frederic Rzewski, Franz Schubert, Györgi Ligeti and Anton Webern.
