You are invited to the virtual book launch of Plants, People, and Places: The Roles of Ethnobotany and Ethnoecology in Indigenous Peoples' Land Rights in Canada and Beyond, edited by Nancy J. Turner.
This book is the outcome of the May 2017 symposium, Affirming Indigenous Peoples' Land Rights with Ethnoecology and Ethnobotany: Strategies for Canada's Future. Both the symposium and this resulting publication received support from the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation.
A timely book featuring Indigenous perspectives on reconciliation, environmental sustainability, and pathways toward ethnoecological restoration, Plants, People, and Places reveals how much there is to learn from the history of human relationships with nature.
